Housing
& Urban Development Corporation Ltd. paid an interim dividend of Rs.18.23
crores to the Ministry of Housing & Urban Poverty Alleviation (MoHUPA).
A cheque to this effect was presented by Shri KL Dhingra, Chairman &
Managing Director, HUDCO to Kumari Selja, Minister of Housing & Urban
Poverty Alleviation
(Independent Charge) on
May 26, 2008.
Besides paying an interim dividend of Rs. 18.23 crores to MoHUPA, HUDCO is also paying interim dividend of Rs. 5.46 crores and Rs.2.66 crores to the Ministry of Rural Development and Ministry of Urban Development respectively. Earlier HUDCO has paid dividend amounting to Rs. 20.68 crores in the month of January 2008. Thus the aggregate dividend now paid by HUDCO amounts to Rs. 47.03 crores.
