Housing
& Urban Development Corporation Ltd. paid the final dividend cheque of Rs.
31,30,32,600/- for the financial year 2008 – 09 to the Ministry of Housing
& Urban Poverty Alleviation. A
cheque to this effect was presented to Kumari Selja, Hon’ble Minister of
Housing & Urban Poverty Alleviation and Tourism on 27.09.2009.
Besides
paying the dividend of Rs. 31,30,32,600/- to the Ministry of Housing & Urban
Poverty Alleviation, HUDCO has also paid a dividend of Rs. 4,56,06,800/- and Rs.
9,37,90,000/- to the Ministry of Urban Development and the Ministry of Rural
Development respectively.
Thus
the aggregate dividend paid by HUDCO amounts to Rs.45,24,29,400/- for the
financial year 2008 – 2009.
