Cooperative housing is one aspect of the housing sector which has claimed a fair share of HUDCO assistance & support. HUDCO has earmarked certain percentage of its annual loan sanction for cooperative, which it is expected to progressively increase in the coming year. 
Under such schemes, HUDCO lends money to the state level housing finance societies & the housing boards for undertaking housing projects for members of cooperative societies according to norms available of Urban Housing Schemes.
